Tunisia Visa for Slovak Citizens

Entry Requirements for Slovakia

Citizens from 97 countries including Slovakia can currently travel to Tunisia visa-free for various lengths of time, depending on their passport. For longer stays and visits for a purpose other than tourism (work, study, etc.) a visa is required for visitors of all nationalities. It is currently necessary to apply for a Tunisia visa for Slovak citizens in person from an embassy or consulate.

However, n the coming months, the Tunisian electronic visa will be made available to travelers from eligible countries. The new electronic system will facilitate the process of visa application and approval. It is also expected to drastically cut waiting times and queues at the Tunisian border.

What Documents Do I Need to Complete a Tunisia Visa Application Form?

In order to complete a Tunisia visa application form, it is mandatory to have a valid Slovak passport. Before applying for the visa, travelers must make sure that their passport is valid for at least the duration of their trip to Tunisia. If the passport has expired or will expire before the return date, it needs to be renewed before sending in the application.

In addition, applicants for a visa for Tunisia from Slovakia will need a valid credit or debit card for online payment of the eVisa fee. They will also be required to have an active email address for all correspondence relevant to obtaining the visa. Once the application is approved, the visa will be sent by email.

Other requirements may be added to the list later on. Applicants may be asked to upload a copy of the biographical page of the passport as well as their photo. However, this will be confirmed closer to the eVisa launch.

Visa Application for Slovak Citizens

Applying for a visa to Tunisia for Slovak citizens will be an easy online process, which will take less than 30 minutes to complete. It will no longer be necessary to contact the embassy since the entire application process will be done online.

Applicants do not have to be in their country of residence at the time of application: they can submit the form from anywhere in the world, except within Tunisia.

Slovak travelers will be asked to fill in personal and passport details on the eVisa application form, such as name, date of birth, address, passport number, and passport issue and expiry dates. Additionally, there will be several security questions that need to be answered.

It is important to make sure that all the questions are answered correctly and that the name in the application corresponds to the name indicated in the passport. If this is not the case, the application process might be delayed.

Once the application form has been submitted, the applicant will receive a confirmation email. After the required processing time, the approved Tunisia tourist visa will be sent by email as well. It is believed that most applications will be processed quickly before the approved eVisas are sent to applicants.

It will be necessary to present the approved eVisa for Slovakians and the relevant passport at Tunisian border in order to enter the country. Applicants are recommended to print the visa and have the paper copy ready to show to authorities in Tunisia if necessary.
